On 7 July, we opened the 5th "Youth Can" summer camp. This year, 65 young people are participating.
DURING THE TWO DAYS OF THE CAMP:
* We organised a sightseeing tour of Pumpėnai;
* We met Domingo, a priest from Pumpėnai;
* We formed 4 teams: "Turbo", "Papigei šaltekai", "Šarkos", "Brėmeno muzikantai";
* We learnt entrepreneurship (the campers will apply the knowledge they have acquired during the "PUMPėnai FEST");
* We tested the physical characteristics of the participants;
* Participated in sports activities;
* Organised the Olympic Games (volleyball tournament, penalty shootout, rowing race);
* Created products for the "PUMPėnai FEST";
* We learned about teamwork (finding strengths, facing challenges)
* By putting their knowledge into practice at the PUMPėnai FEST, the campers will contribute to the development of the town (improving the infrastructure, building basketball court and playgrounds).
