The fourth day started with the traditional exercise and flag-raising ceremony. Then we had breakfast and started the day's activities with full energy! As every day, we had three sessions led by wonderful leaders.
Today, the art activities were particularly bright and colourful. Leader Milda Derkintytė invited the campers to pick up their paintbrushes and not to be afraid to play with colours.
In the session by leader Ugnė Bagušinskaitė, the campers continued to analyse different character traits, life situations and problem-solving techniques (using the "Lego serious play" method). The self-care activities were not lacking in camp site highlights. Youth used Lego bricks to express their feelings and adventures at the camp.
In the activity of the leader Emilija Greviškytė, the campers finished the orienteering routes and tested them. It was great to see that the youth enjoyed the strengthened teamwork, the sense of community and the new experience of organising a hike.
After the creativity challenge, the campers tried another activity - paddleboards!
Kęstas' Matusevičius' and Aino's Mäkipää's activity attracted the biggest smiles of surprise. During the session, the campers got to know the behind-the-scenes of a circus and learned how much work it takes to put on an enchanting performance.
After the marathon of activities, we headed to the volleyball court for a real battle! Six teams were competing for the title of the best. In the end, after a hard fought battle, the campers and leaders had to give "Lamborgini" the upper hand.
After the tournament was over and dinner was served, we were welcomed by the folklore ensemble "Čiūta". The group, visiting for the second year in a row, introduced the campers to ethno dances and songs and created a real party!
We ended the day with traditional reflection around the campfire. Here we were not only rewarded with the prizes of the volleyball tournament, but also with the mesmerising sound of the guitar and the songs of our leader Milda...
